TEN months after almost luring Jack Steven away from St Kilda, Geelong is preparing another bid for the four-time Saints best-and-fairest winner.
FULL FIXTURE Every round, every game
Steven is currently pushing toward a return to the St Kilda senior team after being given time away from the club for mental health reasons.
The pull of a life in the Geelong region – his family has Lorne roots – is known to be part of his considerations for football and life options beyond 2019.

Steven, 29, is contracted to the Saints for the 2020 season, but has regularly been a focus of Geelong's recruiting team.
He considered the possibility of leaving the Saints for the Cats last year, and was also presented with an arrangement to join them when he was nearing free agency status at the end of 2014.
Clarity around his current situation will be gained at the conclusion of the home-and-away season.

Steven, the Saints' club champion in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018, was given time away from St Kilda after round six.
He returned to football last week in the VFL, and is expected to again play at that level this weekend.
