Early prognosis
The Crows are confident co-captain Sloane will be available to take on Collingwood at Adelaide Oval on Saturday. Sloane sustained an eye injury that caused him to have blurred vision in last weekend's 10-point loss to West Coast. A trip to the specialist revealed there was no significant damage to the eye. Keath will be tested at Adelaide's main session on Thursday after missing the past three weeks with an ankle injury. Seedsman is expected to be available despite sustaining a small undisplaced fracture in the tip of his ring finger in the SANFL last weekend. - Lee Gaskin

The Blues lose Jones for the rest of the season, with the defender ruled out after suffering a nasty non-displaced fracture of the larynx in his throat. Cuningham is a 50/50 chance of returning from a lingering knee injury for this week's clash with the Saints, while time is running out for LeBois as he returns from a hamstring strain. - Riley Beveridge

Early prognosis
Daicos copped a knock in the win over Melbourne and will be tested before a decision is made on his availability for the twilight clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday. De Goey, Moore and Aish hope to be back before the end of the home and away season, while a VFL bye this weekend has Wells and possibly Sier targetting final-round returns. Quaynor still seems some time away and Kelly is also being managed conservatively, while Reid faces an uphill battle to play again this season. The suspended Stephenson will be available at finals time but the campaign is over for Cox, Langdon, Beams and Dunn.- Ben Collins

Hurley needs to get through training this week but he is a chance to face the Dockers on Saturday night. The Bombers will be hoping Stringer is available despite his hamstring tightness out of Saturday night's loss to the Bulldogs. Early prognosis
Patrick Dangerfield has already trained this week and has been given the green light to face the Lions after an awkward knee landing against the Roos. O'Connor will endeavour to train fully on Wednesday to press his case after missing a fortnight. The Cats opted against surgery for Clark and is now in a race against time for September. Guthrie was originally named in the VFL on Saturday but was a late withdrawal, while Jarvis tweaked his ankle in the same game. Fogarty is now behind the pack for a finals berth after a hamstring strain. - Mitch Cleary

Hopper won't be seen until the finals, with Finlayson a slim chance to face Gold Coast next week. Taylor did some hard training on Tuesday and also might be in contention for the Suns game, while Aidan Corr, Matt Buntine and Isaac Cumming should all return in the reserves this week. Patton looks unlikely to get back this season unless he can get on the park in the next fortnight. - Adam Curley

Early prognosis
Gunston was a late withdrawal last week because of hamstring tightness, but looks likely to return against Gold Coast on Sunday. The Hawks didn't provide an update on McEvoy, but his strained adductor shouldn't keep him out for another week. There is doubt on Lewis' status for this week's game after pulling up sore from the win over Greater Western Sydney, and he might be the one to make way for Jarryd Roughead's return. Birchall's season is effectively over. - Marc McGowan

Early prognosis
Retirement-bound defender Thompson was one of the Roos' best players in the 55-point loss to Geelong, but his night ended early with concussion. He had a significant 'egg' on his head after Sam Menegola brought him to ground after his seventh intercept mark, and he will be monitored this week. Meanwhile, Dom Tyson (calf) won 16 disposals in his return game in the VFL on Saturday, after a frustrating run of calf problems that had sidelined him since early May. In other positive news, McKenzie could make his VFL debut if he passes a fitness test. First-year forward Taylor was rested at the weekend, while Watson's season is over. - Marc McGowan
