NORTH Melbourne has dumped three round one debutants and called up injury-plagued Taylor Garner amid four changes for Sunday's clash with Geelong at Etihad Stadium.
The Roos have culled first-gamers Declan Mountford, Mitchell Hibberd and big man Braydon Preuss following last week's 43-point defeat to West Coast, with injured key forward Jarrad Waite (shoulder) also out of the side.
Forward-ruck Majak Daw gets another chance to cement his spot as one of four inclusions alongside tough nut Ben Cunnington, defender Aaron Mullett and Garner.
Garner will play his first senior game since round three last year and just the 17th match of his career after being taken with pick 15 in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft.
Geelong has been forced into one change for its clash with North Melbourne following Nakia Cockatoo's thumb injury.
Zippy forward Darcy Lang comes into the Cats' side in the only swap after last weekend's 42-point win over Fremantle in Perth.
The Dockers have stuck with the same 22 after their shabby round one performance, with coach Ross Lyon giving his charges the chance to redeem themselves in Danyle Pearce's 250th game against former side Port Adelaide in Adelaide.
Tall forward Matt Taberner was unable to force his way into the line-up despite bagging five goals for Peel and is an emergency alongside Tommy Sheridan and Ethan Hughes.
The Power have recalled Jarman Impey following his club-imposed suspension for round one after a crash-and-run incident in December.
Impey comes in for mature-age recruit Brett Eddy (omitted). Willem Drew and Joe Atley are the other emergencies.
Melbourne has two handy additions replacing Bernie Vince (suspended) and Joel Smith (shoulder), with classy midfielder Dom Tyson and tough utility James Harmes coming into the 22 to take on Carlton.
Tyson was overlooked for round one after an injury-interrupted pre-season when he partially dislocated his knee during an intense training camp in January.
The Demons have again left big man Jake Spencer out of their final side, although he could earn a late reprieve with doubts lingering over Max Gawn. Dean Kent and Ben Kennedy are the Dees' other emergencies.
Carlton will go in unchanged from the side which lost to Richmond in the season-opener, with young marking forward Harry McKay overlooked after booting four goals in the VFL.
Midfielders Sam Kerridge and Nick Graham have been listed as the Blues' other two emergencies.
