SUMMARY

The Saints will be banking on a groundswell of support from their large Tasmanian fanbase as they take on footy's mission impossible – beating the Hawks at Aurora Stadium. They relished the big stage at the MCG last Saturday and simply overwhelmed Collingwood in the second half. St Kilda's improving midfield will enjoy the large expanses in Launceston, but where the Saints will run into problems is at both ends of the ground. Hawthorn's backline is tough and stingy and the Hawks appear to have too many scoring options at the other end. Cyril Rioli and Luke Bruest save some of their best work for Tasmania.

IT'S A BIG WEEK FOR …
Josh Bruce. With Paddy McCartin and Nick Riewoldt both in doubt, it will be left to the improving Bruce to be the focal point for the Saints. He has kicked five goals from three games, but needs a bag this weekend.
