HAWTHORN midfielder Jordan Lewis is fit to play in Saturday's NAB Challenge match against North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium after scans on his calf came back all clear.
The 29-year-old wasn't at training on Friday morning after experiencing tightness in his calf.
Hawks football manager Chris Fagan said the vice-captain is still a chance to play against the Kangaroos.
"Jordan had a tight calf this morning, and as a precaution he's had a scan," Fagan said.
"We'll make a decision on whether he plays against North Melbourne tomorrow.
"We'll be taking no risks with him. If he doesn’t play tomorrow, we know he will be training next week in preparation for round one."
The four-time premiership Hawk played in the club's first two games of the pre-season.
