AND JUST like that, the regular season is over and it's finals time. Thankfully I beat Calvin this week to scrape into fifth place, while the loss did not affect his top-four finish. On the other hand, the poor old Warne Dawgs will be battling it out in the bottom eight, where his focus will no doubt be on the end of season trip, rather than the job at hand.

Similar to last year, Josh P. Kennedy (MID) has hit his straps at the right time of year. He continued his recent hot form with an outstanding display against the Dockers, collecting a whopping 45 possessions to go with eight marks and three goals for a round-high 156. He would be a nice inclusion for the finals.

Honourable mention: Collingwood midfielder Taylor Adams (MID) has been on fire since returning from injury and that trend continued against the Eagles with a dominant performance, highlighted by 36 touches and 11 tackles. Due to suffering the injury setbacks during the season, he is quite unique now and under-priced compared to the top crop of elite midfielders.

Fantasy Prestigiacomo

Jasper Pittard (DEF) has had a breakout season, but unfortunately for his owners that meant nothing after he had his worst game for the year in what looked like a favourable match-up against the Lions. In a game where five of his teammates enjoyed triple-figure scores, Pittard had just nine possessions and one mark on his way to 29. There are no clues required to answer who his owners will be rage trading this week.

Honourable mention: Richmond captain Trent Cotchin (MID) had a shocker against the Giants, leaving his coaches reeling. There is a lot of responsibility for players who are holding a valuable midfield position at this time of year and a score of just 62 from 21 touches with an inexcusable zero tackles leaves him on the chopping block

• Who fired for your club in this weekend's state leagues?

In an otherwise disappointing night for the Lions, Archie Smith (RUC) showed great potential, recording an impressive 30 hit-outs and collecting 19 possessions, while laying five tackles on his way to 96. He is a great downgrade option for the bench and may even be required to cover Sam Jacobs this week.

Yes, given Stef's scores were down while sharing the ruck duties with Trent West, it is a concern. His recent form has been so good however, that you will have to back him in and hope he continues to play around the ball while Smith is doing the tap work.

Wells has been great, but he would be the first on to go, followed by Duncan.
