The AFL wishes to advise the Tribunal will sit tonight at 5pm, Tuesday August 18, to hear the charges laid by the Match Review Panel from the matches played in round 20 of the 2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, Charges will be heard in the order listed below. AFL Tribunal, Tuesday August 18, 5pm:
Luke McGuane, Brisbane Lions, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Kade Simpson, Carlton, during the first quarter of the Round 20 match between the Brisbane Lions and Carlton, played at the Gabba on Saturday August 15, 2015.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from Carlton Football Club, it was the view of the panel the incident should be classified as careless conduct with low impact to the head. The offence was classified as a $1500 sanction. The player has no applicable bad record.
Alex Silvagni, Fremantle, has been charged with striking Jamie Cripps, West Coast, during the second quarter of the Round 20 match between Fremantle and West Coast, played at Domain Stadium on Sunday August 16, 2015.
Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the West Coast Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with high impact to the head. In summary, he has been referred directly to the Tribunal for its determination of the incident, and he cannot accept an early plea.
Chris Masten, West Coast, has been charged with misconduct (biting) against Nick Suban, Fremantle, during the third quarter of the Round 20 match between West Coast and Fremantle, played at Domain Stadium on Sunday August 16, 2015.
In summary, he has been referred directly to the Tribunal for its determination of the incident, and he cannot accept an early plea.

Nathan Brown, Collingwood, has accepted a one-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Luke Parker, Sydney Swans, during the second quarter of the Round 20 match between Collingwood and the Sydney Swans, played at the SCG on Friday August 14, 2015.
Jack Ziebell, North Melbourne, has accepted a one-match sanction for striking Jack Newnes, St Kilda, during the second quarter of the Round 20 match between North Melbourne and St Kilda, played at Blundstone Stadium on Saturday August 15, 2015.
Jackson Trengove, Port Adelaide, has accepted a $1000 sanction for misconduct against Rory Lobb, GWS Giants, during the second quarter of the Round 20 match between Port Adelaide and the GWS Giants, played at Adelaide Oval on Saturday August 15, 2015.
Justin Westhoff, Port Adelaide, has accepted a $1000 sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Jeremy Cameron, GWS Giants, during the fourth quarter of the Round 20 match between Port Adelaide and the GWS Giants, played at Adelaide Oval on Saturday August 15, 2015.
Brett Deledio, Richmond, has accepted a $1000 sanction for striking Aaron Hall, Gold Coast Suns, during the second quarter of the Round 20 match between Richmond and the Gold Coast Suns, played at the MCG on Sunday August 16, 2015.
