It was really exciting to win against Adelaide, it was like being a kid again out there. I’m absolutely loving it, and now Benny McGlynn has kicked five, that’s my new goal, I’m going to try to kick five in one game so I’ve got something to work towards!

It was great to see all the new boys get on the score board against Adelaide, with Mark Seaby kicking two goals, Daniel Bradshaw getting two, and I snuck in for two late ones.

Braddy is just starting to wind up. It’s only his second game off a short pre-season due to injury so I think we’ve still got a lot of improvement in the team over the coming weeks.

Everyone talked about the history of not beating Adelaide in Adelaide for years, but it didn’t mean anything to me, though I know a few of the older guys like Jude Bolton and Ryan O’Keefe said they were very nervous when we were heading there.

Last Sunday was my 15th AFL game, so I’m still very  immature in a football sense. But I feel pretty confident, I feel like I’ve played more than that, and last Sunday was as much fun as I’ve had during any of those games!

My first year in the AFL (at Hawthorn) was 2007 and I didn’t play any senior games, then I played three in 2008 and then 10 in 2009. So hopefully that progression can continue and I can maintain 22, or more, per year from here on!
