THE WESTERN Bulldogs have recalled defender Dale Morris for Saturday’s clash with St Kilda in the only change to any of the four preliminary finalists, with Mitch Hahn being omitted.

That means a string of players - including Collingwood’s Simon Prestigiacomo, St Kilda’s Steven Baker and Geelong’s Andrew Mackie - have all missed out on winning recalls.

Bulldog Morris’ return has been flagged for a week, but his comeback still caps a remarkable recovery since fracturing a vertebra in his back against the Sydney Swans in round 21.

The versatile Hahn is the unlucky Bulldog to go out of the side for Saturday night’s showdown with the Saints.

Baker has again been the focus of selection debate after he was left out of the qualifying final win over the Cats.

He has again been overlooked, but has been named among the emergencies.

Collingwood and Geelong both go into Friday night’s clash at the MCG unchanged.

Sharrod Wellingham has been named for the Pies and looks set to line up against the Cats, but Prestigiacomo will not return.

The veteran defender, who suffered a badly corked thigh in round 20 and hasn’t played since, trained well on Thursday morning but the Pies have rewarded youngster Nathan Brown, who has impressed in recent weeks.

Mackie is among Geelong’s emergencies, but like Baker at St Kilda has been left out of the 22 at this stage.

Mark Blake and Taylor Hunt are the Cats’ other emergencies as coach Mark Thompson appears set to go in with an unchanged line-up for his side’s third preliminary final in four years against the Pies.
