A host of the Giants' biggest names, including Jeremy Cameron, Treloar, Stephen Coniglio, Dylan Shiel, Devon Smith and Jonathon Patton, are all coming off contract at the end of next season, but Treloar believes that "everyone is going to re-sign". 

As long as the incredibly talented group remains unsigned beyond 2015, the rest of the competition is sure to be doing all it can to lure them to pastures elsewhere.

Ever since he was picked up via the club's 17-year-old access selections, Treloar has been one of the most grateful Giants, committing wholeheartedly to the cause and maintaining his enthusiasm through some tough times.

He had a very swift response when asked on Wednesday if he expects to have many more years as a Giant.

"Definitely," Treloar said. "I love the club. They gave me an opportunity and I want to be known as a one-club player.

"I look forward to playing as long as I can here."

Asked about a recent report that stated Cameron was keen to explore his options before re-signing, Treloar said: "That's all just talk.

"I think everyone is going to re-sign and once that happens, it can get thrown out the window and no one has to worry about it."

It is a sentiment supported by GWS co-captain Callan Ward.

"I feel like our footy club, every single player, is extremely tight," Ward told AFL.com.au.

"Obviously in the first couple of seasons we all lived at Breakfast Point and we all had dinner together every night, and we've always had a great feeling among the playing group.

"Even when things are tough, we seem to get through with a smile on our face and we love each other's company.

"So when it comes to thinking about all these really talented players who will get offers from other footy clubs, I always think everyone at this footy club has a great time and it's a great place to be.

"If we keep believing and sticking to the structures and the game plan and the culture we're trying to set, there's no reason why players will leave."

The playing group was able to restore some pride in Sunday's impressive seven-point defeat to premiers Hawthorn at the MCG, which came on the back of consecutive 100-point losses to West Coast and Richmond.

Next up is a rare Saturday night match at Spotless Stadium against Essendon.

Coach Leon Cameron knows the effort against the Hawks means little if they can't back it up this week.

"We were obviously pleased with the effort and disappointed we lost the game," Cameron said.

"But their effort and intensity to play some really good defence was there for most of the game.

"When you play some pretty good footy one week, it's about how can you back it up after.

"We look forward to playing Essendon, who are in some really good form."

Key forward Cameron will miss this week through suspension, with a number of options to replace him.

Jonathan Giles could be recalled after he was dropped last week, Tom Boyd performed well in the NEAFL, and 205cm, 96kg ruckman Rory Lobb is in contention to make his AFL debut.
