We are seeking a highly organised and motivated person to fulfil the role of Member & Fan Events Coordinator. This full time position plays a pivotal role in developing and coordinating the implementation of member and fan activities and programs. The successful candidate will have experience in planning and implementing events for a range of audiences, strong creativity with the ability to translate ideas into actions, a keen interest in customer service and be able to show a high level of initiative.
The role is responsible for these key areas:
- Develop and implement the Supporter Operations department marketing, promotions and events calendar, with a focus on member and fan activities and programs.
- Develop, coordinate and implement the delivery of all member and fan events.
- Assist with member engagement initiatives and oversee ‘Captain’s Club’ functions and activities during all home matches.
- Create fan development strategies to engage with non-members, increase supporter membership and merchandise sales.
- Assist the Manager, Consumer Strategy with the development and delivery of the member recognition program.
- Develop new ideas for continued improvement in service/engagement with both members and fans.
- Provide outstanding customer service to both members and fans, to ensure membership satisfaction is maintained and improved.
- Participate in the development and implementation of membership retention and satisfaction strategies.
- Assist with Membership customer service as required.
Highly developed computer skills are required with a focus on Microsoft Office. Recent experience in a member-based organisation is desirable, as is relevant qualifications relating to Marketing or Events.
There is a requirement for all full time staff to assist on match days and other events as required by the club, which includes weekends. The remuneration and benefits provided factor in this requirement.
