Department: Consumer Business & Fan Development

This casual position is responsible for assisting in maximizing sales through customer service at the Carlton Shop operated at Visy Park, Carlton match games and Carlton functions.

Reports to:
  • Merchandise Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Liaising/assisting all customers/clients at the Carlton Shop and Match Day Venues
  • Assisting with maintaining  merchandise standards to maximize sales
  • High presentation standards of the Carlton Shop in terms of stock displays, point of sales displays, store presentation and cleanliness
  • Complying with all shop policies and requests of the Merchandise Manager with respect to receiving payments from customers
  • Assisting with Stock Control and Inventory Management
  • Processing online orders in a timely fashion

Skills and Experience:
  • Strong customer focus and delivers outstanding customer service
  • Cash handling, Eftpos transactions experience
  • Telephone/Internet orders experience
  • Flexible -  able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Positive personality
  • Work well within a team environment and leads by example
  • Retail/Sales experience an advantage
