- Makes his debut for the Blues against Collingwood on July 25. His only disposal is one handball.
- Gains recognition months later when he kicks 12 goals for the Blues in their millennium match against Collingwood on December 31.

- Attacks a university student with a fire extinguisher in a pre-dawn incident involving teammates Matthew Lappin and Andrew Merrington.

2003
- Finishes third in Carlton's best and fairest.
- Leads the club's goalkicking for the first of seven straight seasons.

- Wins the Michael Tuck Medal for best on ground in Carlton's pre-season premiership victory.

- Wins All-Australian selection and the Coleman Medal.
- Finishes second in Carlton's best and fairest.
- Assaults a barman while touring with the Australian team in Ireland and is immediately sent home.
- Separates from wife Alex after revelations of an affair with model Lara Bingle.

- Plays in Carlton's pre-season premiership team.

2008
- Fined $10,000 by Carlton and dropped from the leadership group after urinating on a window outside a Melbourne nightclub.
- Wins the Allen Aylett Medal for his best on ground performance in the Hall of Fame tribute match.
- Finishes third in Carlton's best and fairest after kicking a career-high 99 goals.
- Photographed carrying a giant sex toy through the Melbourne CBD during Carlton's Mad Monday celebrations.

2009
- Carlton announces its intentions to trade Fevola after his drunken antics at the Brownlow Medal count.
- Two weeks later the Blues trade Fevola to the Brisbane Lions for pick 12 in the 2009 NAB AFL Draft and key position prospect Lachlan Henderson.

2010
- Implicated in the unauthorised distribution of a photograph of Bingle, and removed from a promotional campaign to promote the Lions' start to the new season.
- Admits to a gambling addiction that has had severe financial consequences. Wife Alex leaves him to return to Melbourne.
- Season ends after tearing a groin in round 18, and has surgery. Finishes second to Jonathan Brown with 48 goals.
- Suspended indefinitely by the Lions after allegations of improper conduct.
