This Good Friday the Power will continue its tradition of footy and Easter Eggs. The day has a real family atmosphere, so it’s the perfect opportunity to bring the kids to Alberton Oval.

Everyone is welcome to watch the team go through their final training session before taking on the Kangaroos, and the kids will even get some early Easter eggs.

Training starts at midday at Alberton Oval, Brougham Place, Alberton. Thunda Power will be at the ground handing out free Easter eggs to all the kids.

There’ll also be a meat-free barbecue kindly put on by the club’s Cheer Squad / Supporters Club. There’ll be fish burgers, chicken sausages, chicken spinach and pesto sausages, and drinks available. There will also be a raffle to be drawn by a club official on the day.

Good Friday is only the start of the Power’s Easter activity. It continues on Sunday at The Port Club and then at AAMI Stadium.

The Port Club will be serving Easter Brunch from 10.45am before the match against the Roos, then at AAMI Stadium the Easter Bunny will be their before the bounce to hand out more eggs.

The Easter Sunday clash starts at 12.40pm with car parks open from 10.15am and gates from 10.45am.
