POWER CORPORATE PARTNERS AND POWER BROKERS gathered together on November 17 at the National Wine Centre, by Adelaide’s picturesque Botanic Gardens, for the preview unveiling of the Power’s 2010 Back in Black guernsey.

Guests began the evening with a self-guided discovery tour of South Australia’s magnificent grape regions and scrubbed up on their knowledge of wine. Once assembled in the Exhibition Hall, Power CEO Mark Haysman took to the stage to welcome our partners and provide them some background into recent developments in the Club and the three year strategy moving forward.

The update included details on the substantial recent resource investment into the Football Department including the recent appointment of Dean Laidley and Garry Hocking; and also valuable insight into the strong non-football commercial initiatives the club are driving.

Mark also spoke on the aggressive new plans to drive member growth by winning the hearts and minds of consumers through new match day experiences, the new brand strategy and campaign and better member reward and recognition. Exciting plans for the Northern Territory program are also well underway.

All of this together - results in a strong robust business - and sets us up for success on and off the field, and the ultimate prize, our next AFL Flag!

Guests also saw a sneak peak of the Back in Black home and clash guernseys as modeled by fit and trim looking Steven Salopek and Troy Chaplin. Power Communications Officer Daniel Norton also interviewed Garry “Buddha” Hocking on stage and asked him to detail the day to day tasks of a Development Coach. Senior Coach Mark Williams was then invited to the stage and thanked guests for their years of loyalty to the Club and explained how the vital financial support is utilised in the Football Department.

The night drew to a close over some fabulous South Australian wines and the smooth sounds of The Idle Saints.

The evening was a token of our appreciation to you all for your ongoing support throughout season 2009. We wish you all a safe and happy festive season.

We value the contribution you make to our Club and look forward to working with you in 2010 towards our exciting new goals… It Starts Here!
