Renowned artist Jamie Cooper has been commissioned to immortalise Tiger great Matthew Richardson in a life-size oil painting.
Cooper has worked as a commercial artist in London, a political caricature artist for a national newspaper in Copenhagen, Denmark, and painted public murals in Greece.
In 1999, he painted Richmond’s Team of the Century, which now hangs in the Club boardroom.
His unique style has also brilliantly captured other sporting legends such as Shane Warne, James Hird and Robert Harvey.
There will be 282 fine art prints produced from the painting.
