The Brisbane Lions will head into the 2011 AFL National Draft with the intention of securing a selection of the best young football talent in the country.

The event, which will be held in Sydney on Thursday 24 November, will be largely dominated by new AFL franchise GWS, although the Lions will be the next biggest player at the meeting with two of the top 12 selections.

In fact, it will be the first time since 1997 that the Lions have had multiple picks inside the top dozen - which has National Talent Manager Rob Kerr, Recruiting Manager Graeme Hadley and their team licking their lips at the prospect of unearthing some more future AFL stars.
