Werribee Coach Simon Atkins’ player review from the match:

J. Barham: Started the game up forward then went down back when needed. He provided a target and kicked two goals.

C. Grant: Finished with 18 possessions and provided a lot of counter attack from the backline. He seems likely to return to the Bulldogs soon.

T. Henderson: Turned his form around from last week, providing the team with a lot of drive with his 27 possessions.

S. Howard: A slow start to the game but then got going and went well in the backline.

C. Wight: Kept his opponent quiet but needed to be providing some forward momentum as well.

A. Everitt: Another solid game with 23 possessions as he continues to stick to his task. He has become a very reliable player in defence.

D. McCormack: It was his second run back from his knee injury. He has missed a lot of footy and needs some time to get back to his best.

B. Robinson: He was pretty serviceable. He played down back but also spent some time as a midfielder.

M. Robbins: Finished with one goal and was a little bit down.

W. Skipper: He demonstrated his athleticism around the ground and his ruck work was also very good.

S. Power: Finished with 24 possessions and we were really happy with his work rate. He played wing, half forward and half back.

A. McDougall: Wasn’t as dominant as he could be.

J.Podsiadly: He was down on his recent form and needs to improve his work rate.

M. Lynch: Put in a good effort. His work rate is excellent and he has the opposition looking for him. Kicked two goals and was best on ground.

W. Minson: He had 15 hitouts but couldn’t get on top of the opposition ruckman. He will learn from games like this.

M. Rockefeller: Provided a good work rate, had a good first quarter but needs to work for the entire match.

R. Castello: A very consistent game. He started in the forward line had 26 possessions and kicked two goals.

J. Hill: Didn’t have a big influence and is continuing to learn all the time. Good tackling performance.

J. Young: Played on one of their better midfielders and tagged him well, then went to Medhurst and we were pretty happy with his effort.

B. Stack: He is on a steep learning curve about what is required to make it at the top level and continued to learn at the weekends game. Showed some really positive signs of his talent.

J. Sheringham: Gathered 12 possessions and is still coming to terms with the tempo of senior footy but is willing to do the hard things which is a good sign.

D. Gleeson: I was pretty happy with his game in which he gathered 22 possessions. He is a critical cog in our midfield and is producing the goods.

Reserves with Steve Kretiuk S. Tiller: He was been really competitive and had a hand in the first 6 goals of the game. He continues to work hard at this game.

P. O’Shea: One on one he was good but needs to work on when to leave his opponent and when not too, but he is learning. Kicked a good running goal.

M. Pask: Played centre half back and fullback and was a solid contributor.

T.Walsh: He started off well then unfortunately injured his hamstring.

G. Hughes: He worked pretty hard and finished with a reasonable game.

T. Baird: He continued to work hard at his game and his efforts over the past three games have boosted his confidence and impact on the game.
