First-year player Alex Fasolo returns to the side to replace 2010 premiership player Dayne Beams, who is out with a groin injury from the side that beat Hawthorn by three points in the preliminary final.
Tyson Goldsack, Cameron Wood and Ben Sinclair are the three emergencies for the Magpies.

Ruckman Darren Jolly and All Australian defender Ben Reid have both been named, despite plenty of media speculation regarding their fitness.
Fasolo, 19, was drafted from East Fremantle in Western Australia with the 45th overall pick in the 2010 draft, has played 12 games since debuting in round 12 against Melbourne this year.
He has averaged 12 possessions per outing and booted 16 goals, including a haul of five majors against Essendon in round 19.
Fasolo last played in the qualifying final victory over West Coast. In that game he started as the substitute and came on late in the fourth quarter. He had one goal assist and kicked a goal after the siren.
Of the emergencies, Goldsack is the only one to have played in the team that won last year’s flag.
The versatile 24-year-old has played 13 games this season for a career total of 69. He last appeared in the qualifying final against West Coast.
Wood, 24, has played 12 games in 2011 and 58 in his seven-year career at AFL level. The ruckman last played in round 24 against Cats.
Sinclair has played four matches in 2011 after debuting against the Bombers in round 19. He is a quick and aggressive half forward/midfield option who turns 20 on Grand Final day.
Geelong has named an unchanged side after last week's convincing 48-point win over West Coast last Saturday.
