While round 24 signalled the end of a disappointing season for Crows fans, there was still plenty of excitement and optimism in the Dream Team and tipping competitions.

The hotly contested Crows Dream Team group was a tight finish with Josh McFarlane’s team #1 why try harder? the overall winner with a total of 51,793 points.

Josh finished a narrow 51 points ahead of Craig’s team Spuds & Donuts, with Chris’s team Webstars a further 23 points behind in third place.

As the winner of the Crows group, Josh wins himself a signed 2011 Crows Guernsey.

The Toyota Crows tipping competition also saw a nail-biting finish with Liam Beazleigh the overall winner on 148, only one point ahead of four other tipsters.

At only 11 years of age, Liam held off some fast finishing rivals to take out the major prize. Dad Robert said Liam was a little concerned going into the final few games.

“He went to bed on Sunday night concerned because he only got four right,” Robert said. “I had a look at the website when it updated and woke him up at 11pm to let him know he’d won!”

Liam wins the first prize of two tickets to the 2011 Crows Club Champion dinner this Friday night and also a 2011 signed Crows Guernsey.

We’d like to thank all of our fans who took part in Dream Team and Tipping this season. Enjoy the off-season break before you start researching again to get to the top in 2012!
