Daniel Wells, Andrew Swallow and Drew Petrie have received more accolades for their impressive seasons - this time earning the ultimate respect from their team-mates.

The trio has been voted by their peers as the club's most valuable players in 2011, and now they are up against 45 from around the league in the race for the coveted AFL Players' MVP.

After bursting onto the scene with 14 games and 18 goals in his debut year, Cameron Pedersen has been recognised as the club's best first year player.

The 24 year-old's versatile game has seen him spend time in defence, up forward and even in the ruck.

A severe ankle sprain kept Levi Greenwood out of action for several weeks but upon his return, he remained as gutsy as ever resulting in his nomination as North's most courageous player

The winners will be announced at Crown Palladium on Monday September 12, with the event broadcast on Fox Sports 1 from 9.30pm.
