FRIDAY night's NAB Cup Bushfire Appeal game between the Western Bulldogs and Essendon at Telstra Dome will see players and coaches from all 16 AFL clubs take part in pre-match fund-raising activities and an on-ground tribute to the families and communities devastated by the Victorian bushfires.

AFL chief executive officer Andrew Demetriou said on Thursday support from the entire football community – players, coaches, clubs, partners, venues and broadcasters – had been overwhelming.

"The entire Australian community has responded in magnificent fashion and all proceeds from this match will go to the Victorian Government’s Bushfire Appeal Fund announced by Premier John Brumby," he said.

Players will be outside Telstra Dome from 7.30pm at the public entry gates for fund-raising activities, including club captains Chris Judd, Sam Mitchell, Tom Harley, James McDonald, Nick Maxwell and Chris Newman and leading players, coaches and assistant coaches from all clubs.

Prices, including Ticketmaster fees and charges are below. Ticketmaster will donate all fees to the appeal, while tickets purchased in advance will allow free public transport on Connex:

Adult:  $24
Concession:  $19
Junior (Under 17): $5
Family:  $48

The game will also be televised live nationally on Foxtel and Austar via Fox Sports 1, and into Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia on the Seven Network, starting at 8.30pm local time.
