Essendon vs West Coast at Telstra Dome

·        Essendon has had a scoring accuracy of 74 per cent from marks this season – ranked No. 1 in the competition.

·        Nathan Lovett-Murray finished with 27 disposals last week against the Hawks – his most in any game since Round 6, 2006.

·        Scott Lucas has averaged 17 disposals, six marks and five goals in his past four games against the Eagles. He booted 13 goals against them in two games last season.

·        West Coast has averaged 61 inside 50s in its past three games against the Bombers – the most by any side against them since 2006.

·        Brett Jones has conceded 23 goals this season – the second most at the club. He has conceded four or more goals on three occasions this season.

Western Bulldogs vs Brisbane at the MCG

·        In the past four weeks, the Bulldogs have hit the target with 78 per cent of their disposals – ranked No. 1 in the competition.

·        Dale Morris has played the most minutes of any Bulldogs player this season and has been benched just five times – the fewest at the club.

·        In his past four games against the Lions, Brad Johnson has averaged 24 disposals, 10 marks and five goals.

·        The Lions have lost the disposals and inside 50 count in its past four games against the Western Bulldogs.

·        Daniel Merrett has played 1321 minutes this season – the second most of any player in the competition. He has been benched on just two occasions this season and ranks No. 1 in the AFL for spoils. 

Fremantle vs North Melbourne at Subiaco

·        In the past four rounds, Fremantle has averaged 17 clanger kicks a game – the equal most of any team in the competition.

·        Fremantle has out-tackled its opposition in only three of its 11 games this season.

·        In the past four weeks, Rhys Palmer leads Fremantle in disposals, kicks, handballs, uncontested possessions, handball-receives, clearances and frees for. He also ranks equal first at the club in contested possessions in that time.

·        North Melbourne has won three of its past four games against Fremantle at Subiaco.

·        In the past four weeks, North Melbourne has conceded on average 60 inside 50s per game – five more than any other team in that time.

·        Daniel Harris had 24 disposals and a team-high six hardball-gets last week against the Cats. He ranks third at the club in disposals this season and second in disposals per minute.

Sydney Swan vs St Kilda at the SCG

·        The Sydney Swans have outscored their opposition by 19 goals from stoppages in the past four weeks – ranked No. 1 in the AFL in that time.

·        Barry Hall has kicked just five goals in his past four games against the Saints.

·        Adam Goodes finished with just seven disposals and three marks against the Saints in Round 1. From 2005-07, he averaged 21 disposals, six marks, five clearances and four inside 50s in his five appearances against the Saints.

·        St Kilda has been in front at quarter time in only one of its past seven games interstate.

·        The Saints have won the contested possession count in just two of their 11 games this season.

Adelaide vs Hawthorn at AAMI Stadium

·        Adelaide has won the contested possessions in all six of its games at AAMI Stadium this season – averaging 18 more per game there than its opposition.

·        Adelaide won 16 more clearances than the Hawks in their clash against them in round four – its best result in any game this season.

·        Nathan van Berlo has been great in the past five weeks, as he ranks equal No. 1 at the club in uncontested possessions and second in disposals during that time.

·        Hawthorn has won 10 of its 11 final quarters this season – the best last quarter record of any team.

·        Cyril Rioli leads the Hawks with 42 tackles so far this season. He has laid 16 of those inside 50 – the fourth most in the competition.

Geelong vs Port Adelaide at Skilled Stadium

·        Geelong has lost the inside 50 count in only two of its games so far this season.

·        Joel Corey has averaged 27 disposals and five inside 50s in his past seven games against the Power.

·        In the past four weeks only 16 per cent of Port Adelaide’s kicks have been long – the lowest percentage of any side in that time.

·        Port Adelaide had just five inside 50s in the final quarter against the Blues last week – its worst result in any quarter this season.

·        Kane Cornes has played the most minutes of any Port Adelaide player this season – playing 94 per cent of game-time this season.  

·        Daniel Motlop has been held goalless in three of his past six games against Geelong.

Collingwood vs Carlton at the MCG

·        Collingwood has played on after 49 per cent of its marks in the past four rounds – ranked third in the AFL in that time.

·        Collingwood has had more inside 50s than Carlton in each of their past five meetings.

·        Dane Swan has averaged 27 disposals and eight marks in his past five games against the Blues.

·        Carlton has allowed its opposition to average only 341 disposals per game this season – the third-fewest of any side.

·        Brendan Fevola has kicked 46 goals against Collingwood in his career to date – the most he has kicked against any side. 

Richmond vs Melbourne at Telstra Dome

·        Richmond has not won a game at the Telstra Dome since round 20, 2006 – having four losses and two draws since then.

·        Richmond had 37 more disposals than Adelaide last week, yet went inside 50 on 14 fewer occasions.

·        Nathan Brown’s 34 disposals last week against Adelaide was his highest tally in a game since round four, 2005 shortly before he broke his leg.

·        In the past four weeks, Melbourne has won a clearance from just 34 per cent of stoppages – the second lowest strike rate of any side in that time.

·        Brock McLean finished with an equal career-high of 36 disposals last week against the Magpies. He ranks No. 1 at the club in disposals, kicks, short kicks, contested possessions, hardball-gets, looseball-gets, handball-receives and clearances.
