KEY SWAN Amon Buchanan says the Sydney Swans’ depth and the return of Barry Hall will be telling factors in the second half of the season as the Bloods look to cement a spot in the eight.

"We got an even contribution across the forward line. It’s working good and we get [Barry] Hall back in a couple of weeks which should set us up for the back half of the season," Buchanan told sydneyswans.com.au .

The strongly built attacking midfielder has shored up his own spot over recent weeks with valuable goal tallies. Three against the outclassed Richmond on Sunday meant the 25-year-old has contributed eight goals in the last four rounds (10 for the season).

"I suppose my role has changed a little bit, and I’m up forward a little more… I played a lot as a junior in the forward line so I enjoy it and make a contribution.
