November 1 each year is the important date when the Club’s constitution requires members of at least two years standing to re-nominate for their positions on the Brisbane Lions Board.

There have been no external nominations this year by the November 1 deadline, so Chairman Tony Kelly and Director David Liddy will be re-elected unopposed at the Annual General Meeting on Monday 17 December 2007. This means in a practical sense that there will be no election.

This Club has, except for a short period around 1998, enjoyed amazing stability at Board level which has filtered down with strong rewards right through the Football and Administration arms of the Lions. This is a credit to the Board and to our members who elect the Board.
