Collingwood has made two changes to the side for Saturday’s big round 14 clash with St Kilda at the MCG.

After a narrow loss to Hawthorn last Sunday, the fourth-placed Magpies have added Harry O’Brien, who returns to bolster the defence after missing two matches with a dislocated shoulder he injured in the round 11 Queen’s Birthday game against Melbourne.

Meanwhile, young midfielder Sam Iles, who has regularly been named an emergency this season, comes in for his second game of 2007 after a series of impressive performances for Collingwood’s VFL affiliate Williamstown.

Brodie Holland will miss with a sore Achilles, while ruckman Guy Richards has been omitted.

Ruckman Chris Bryan, midfielder Ben Davies and exciting first-year player Brad Dick are the three emergencies.

Also this week, Josh Fraser will play his 150th game, a magnificent achievement.

Recruited with the first overall pick in the 1999 AFL Draft, Fraser has emerged as one of the club’s most important players and has regularly shouldered most of the ruck responsibility throughout his career.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a strong 2007 season after finishing fourth in the EW Copeland Trophy voting in 2006, and will continue to be a cornerstone of the Magpie line-up for many years to come.

St Kilda has rushed back key tall Justin Koschitzke from a hamstring injury, while centre-half back Matt Maguire returns for his first game since round one. Max Hudghton is out with a hamstring injury and veteran Andrew Thompson has been dropped.
