Williamstown Football Club commenced pre-season on Wednesday 11th November under a new look coaching structure.

Peter German has taken over as Senior Coach of Williamstown and Development Coach of the Western Bulldogs and has assembled three new assistant coaches.
Adam Potter who has coached Coburg Reserves for 4 seasons (2006-2009) and was also Senior Assistant to Jade Rawlings over the last two years has been appointed as Reserves Coach / Development Coach of Williamstown.

Adam was a Development Coach with the Western Jets prior to joining Coburg and is a leading teacher and Year 9 Coordinator at Williamstown High School. Adam was a Premiership coach in 2007 when Coburg Seniors and Reserves made the VFL Grand Final with his Reserves side defeating Port Melbourne.

Former Richmond and North Melbourne player David Bourke also joins Williamstown as the Line Coach responsible for our defence. David played 85 Senior games with Richmond in a career which was severely affected with injury. David is employed with Coca Cola as a Business Executive and over the last two years the passion to coach and develop young players has seen him have coaching roles at Lilydale Football Club assisting Justin Charles and at Coburg Football Club in 2009.

Ross Fisher comes to Williamstown as our Midfield Coach in 2010. Ross and German were junior teammates at Oak Park Football Club and now they are reunited some 25 years later at Williamstown. Ross played with Melbourne Football Club before coaching at TAC Cup Under 16 level with the Northern Knights and also assisting with training at AFL Level at both Melbourne and Richmond Football Clubs.
