POSITION DETAILS:

The Sydney Swans are currently accepting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals in the position of Communication Content & Website Coordinator.

Reporting to the General Manager - Communications in the Clubs Communications Department, this position will have prime responsibility for the provision and management of content for Sydney Swans websites and Club e-communications. The Communications Content & Website Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the website system and for the on-going advancement and development of Sydney Swans websites in line with contemporary trends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the content of Sydney Swans websites and social media networks.
  • Provide content to Sydney Swans websites.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure functional areas of Sydney Swans websites/social media networks are up to date, relevant and accurate.
  • Coordinate all Club e-communication.
  • Manage the Sydney Swans website/social media network system.
  • Oversee website development.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree qualified in Communications/Journalism.
  • Proven experience in managing a website content management system.
  • Proven experience working with social media.
  • Proven experience working with multimedia.
  • Experienced and competent in content provision.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Web CRM experience and knowledge, database experience).
  • Knowledge of AFL and the Sydney Swans.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and priorities;
  • Knowledge of the Sydney market.
