Sam Reid was the equal leading goalkicker for the Swans in Saturday night's 70-point win over the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium, and his second goal on the stroke of quarter time has been adjudged the SwansTV Play of the Day for round 16.

The play started from the Swans' backline when Kieren Jack was able to stand up in a tackle, get his hands free and handpass out to co-captain Adam Goodes who was running past.

Goodes continued his run, taking two bounces, and getting a solid shepherd from Luke Parker. Just as it looked like Goodes would blaze away at goal, he showed great composure to pick out an open Sam Reid in the forward 50.

Reid played on after marking the ball and was able to convert the goal from 20 metres out under pressure from the closing Jarrod Harbrow.

The goal gave the Swans a deserved 22-point lead at the first change, and the team were able to build on that over the remaining three quarters to run out comprehensive winners.

The play off half-back was one of many highlights from the Swans in their first trip to Metricon Stadium, many of which have been captured in the round 16 edition of 'Handpicked Highlights'.
