Payroll Officer
Part time role (flexible working hours)

Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Corporate Services team and work closely with our external payroll processing house.
Reporting to the Human Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring accurate & timely reconciliation of staff remuneration and related payments including superannuation, PAYG, FBT and payroll tax
• Providing staff with salary packing advice
• Processing new starters and terminations
• Creating monthly payroll reports and other ad hoc reporting when required
• General payroll queries and resolving any payroll issues
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
• Prior experience in Payroll
• Understanding of awards, taxation and payroll related legislation
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Capability to work independently and part of a team
• High levels of attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
