ADELAIDE has landed highly rated teenagers Luke Brown and Brad Crouch in a trade with GWS on Thursday afternoon.

In return, the Crows will send pick 10 in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft and their round one compensation pick, received for the loss of Phil Davis, to the Giants.

The deal involves Adelaide receiving pick two in Monday's mini-draft, which they have confirmed they'll use to select North Ballarat's Crouch.

The 17-year-old will not be eligible to play AFL until 2013.

A midfielder, he was selected in the All Australian under-18 team in 2011 after excellent performances for Vic Country in the under-18 carnival.

Brown, aged 19, had been pre-listed by the Giants.

Adelaide's website describes him as "a quick and versatile utility".

He was a regular member of SANFL club Norwood's senior team in 2011, and also represented SA in the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.

"We think Luke's the type of person and a high-calibre, quality player who's going to fit into [new senior coach] Brenton Sanderson's plans for our midfield going forward," Crows list manager David Noble told Trade Week Radio on AFL.com.au.

Noble said he thought Brown could slot straight into Adelaide's senior team.

"The experience of playing senior footy at SANFL level allows him to confidently, I believe, go into pre-season this year and vie for a senior position," he said.

The deal adds to Greater Western Sydney's incredible list of high-end picks in this year's draft.

The new club now holds the first five selections, plus picks seven, nine, 10, 11, 13 and 14.

In addition, the Giants have also secured three compensation picks for use in future drafts.
