CHRIS Judd in No. 4? It just won’t look right!

Getting used to Juddy in the Navy Blue – and the No.5 – has taken a few weeks, but now another change?

The Victorians have allotted their numbers for Saturday night’s Hall of Fame Tribute match, and seniority – in regards to number of AFL matches – wins out in this battle.

Players put in their three priorities for which number they wanted to have on their back on Saturday night.

Twelve of the 30 players in contention to run out for the Big V will wear the same number they do on a weekly basis.

Skipper Jonathan Brown (16) and Brownlow Medallists Adam Goodes (37) and Jimmy Bartel (3) all got their wish, while Brent Harvey will be in his normal No. 29.

Judd will run out in No. 4, Luke Power 8, The Fev 23 and Sam Mitchell will look a little odd sporting a No. 7 on his back.

Those footy fans with the ability to quickly spot a player’s body shape, running style or kicking style from a distance will be okay watching on Saturday night.

However, those who require a number to pick up exactly who’s who might be a kick or a handball behind the game for a little while.

On second thoughts, just make sure you’re near some form of commentary.
