North Melbourne's 2011 campaign is now complete and most players are enjoying a well earned break. Now is the perfect time to analyse each of them, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and see who is best suited to take the club forward.

kangaroos.com.au is conducting reviews on all 46 players, underlining their best games, season statistics and video highlights.

Cameron Delaney
Yet to debut

kangaroos.com.au says:
Like his brother Luke, Cameron Delaney is a natural defender, but he plays a very different game.

Agile and with great leg speed for his size, he progressed quicker than expected in his first year despite his light frame.

He was a permanent fixture in North Ballarat's back six, often forced to play on bigger, stronger opponents but at the same time, was able to have an impact with his rebound from defence.

His season was ended prematurely due to a shoulder injury, but he showed plenty in his first season.

North Melbourne has struggled at times with tall, versatile opponents and Delaney could be the perfect man for the job in the coming years after some more time to develop.
