Adelaide’s Andrew McLeod today had a knee arthroscopy and will be sidelined indefinitely.

Crows general manager football operations Phil Harper said McLeod’s right knee was “cleaned out” during the procedure.

“At the moment we are unable to put a timeframe on his return but it is definitely not a season ending injury,” Harper said.

“The club doctors have advised that we may be able to put a rough timeline on Andrew’s recovery by the end of this week.”

McLeod was unable to return to the ground after half-time in Saturday’s game against Fremantle.
