The Humour Foundation is a charity dedicated to promoting the health benefits of humour.

They do this by sending Clown Doctors into wards who try and lighten the serious side of hospital for sick children.

The Clown Doctors are regular visitors to both Randwick and Westmead Hospital’s.

The Swans will team-up on visits and work with The Humour Foundation’s already established program.

The Swans feel the Clown Doctors do a tremendous job in bringing a little happiness to hospitalised children and as such, are delighted to be involved with the program.

About The Humour Foundation:

The Clown Doctors touch the lives of over 50,000 people a year. There are 32 Clown Doctors Australia-wide who are professional performers, trained to work in the hospital setting.

The Foundations ‘National Smile Day’ is an opportunity for the community to have fun, smile and play, while supporting Clown Doctors to deliver the health benefits of humour.

The Swans will take part in the campaign, which will run from April 1 to April 7.
