The recent changes to North Melbourne's list has given some of the club's players a chance to change their identities - at least on the field.

With no names on the back of jumpers like we see in other sports around the world, AFL players are identified mainly by their number, that's why changing it means so much. The lower numbers are always in high demand with rookies and newcomers often handed double digits at the other end of the scale.

The departure of Ed Lower (2) and retirement of Brady Rawlings (3) means some extremely low numbers are now available, but who will be in line to get them?

Ben Ross (15) and Daniel Pratt (30) are also gone while Brayden Norris (37), Marcus White (43) and Matthew Scott's (44) also have to be taken.

North supporters will be eagerly anticipating the announcement of numbers for new draftees Brad McKenzie and Tom Curran while it remains to be seen if any other player chose to trade their existing one in for a lower one.

Trade week addition Will Sierakowski will also be eyeing his first royal blue and white jumper.

kangaroos.com.au wants your opinion on who should get Rawlings' number 3, the guernsey also worn so proudly by the likes of Anthony Rock and Jim Krakouer, Lower's number 2, previously donned by Leigh Colbert, Wayne Schwass and Kevin Dynon and Ross' number 15 previously held by Malcolm Blight, Ross Smith and Peter Steward.

Don't forget, Cameron Pedersen, Luke Delaney and Ben Speight's upgrades to the senior list may also give them the chance to change things up a little.
