ESSENDON has delisted three more players as new coach James Hird shapes his squad for 2011, but Bachar Houli remains on the list despite declaring his intention to join Richmond last week.

After last week's announcement that Jason Laycock and rookie John Williams had been axed, the Bombers have followed up by cutting Tyson Slattery, Michael Still and rookie-listed Christian Bock.

Slattery played just one senior match for the Bombers, the round 14 clash with Adelaide where he gathered 15 disposals.

He was drafted in the 2008 NAB AFL draft, and spent two years largely with VFL side Bendigo where he played as a running half-back.

Still was taken in the same draft but never played senior football for the Bombers.

Bock was drafted to the rookie list as a potential ruckman but never seriously pushed for senior selection and leaves after two years with Bendigo.

Midfielder Ben Howlett has been promoted to the senior list after playing 15 games in his debut season.
