The club was forced to cancel the July holidays date for the event at short notice when a freak storm hit the coast, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage to buildings and housing in Fremantle and nearby suburbs. Fremantle cancelled the event as it was not prepared to jeopardise the safety of the participating children by holding the event that day.
Fremantle’s Community Development staff will make contact with participating schools to inform them of the new date for the Grand Finals.
The Skills4Schools Grand Finals are the final events for 2008 for Freo Fast Ball, Freo Kwik Kick and Freo Long Bomb.
