Swans forward Ben McGlynn may lead the Club's goalkicking in 2011, but that doesn't stop him from pushing back and giving the defence a chop-out when needed.

During Saturday's game against North Melbourne, McGlynn - who finished as the Swans main goalkicker with three - was dogged during his short time spent in defence, in particular one repeat effort in the third quarter that was worthy of the SwansTV Play of the Day for round 10.

With the Swans trailing by two points, and the Kangaroos attacking, McGlynn stopped North Melbourne's Scott McMahon in his tracks with a front-on tackle that forced McMahon to rush out a handpass - despite McGlynn giving up 10 centimetres and 11 kilograms to McMahon.

Jude Bolton and Adam Goodes then laid consecutive tackles on their Kangaroos' opponents, before McGlynn followed up his earlier work by gathering possession and drawing an in-the-back free kick from North's Shaun Atley.

The defensive effort by McGlynn wasn't the only highlight from Saturday's game, so we've decided to piece together a series of highlights titled 'Handpicked Highlights' that will now become an additional feature on sydneyswans.com.au and the Swans' Facebook page.
