Shaw, now in his sixth season at the club, has played 15 games and has averaged 21.7 disposals and 5.5 marks. The running defender was one of the Magpies’ best when the two sides met in round nine earlier this year, collecting 25 possessions.
Joining Shaw down back is veteran defender Prestigiacomo, who returns after missing just one week. The 32-year-old will add to his 231 games of experience when he runs out on Saturday.
Brown, Blair and Tarkyn Lockyer have all been named as the three emergencies.??
Geelong will field a full strength side with Jimmy Bartel (174 games, 107 goals) returning after missing last week while ruckman Trent West is omitted.
