Brian Walsh is the wonderful father of four children and thirteen grandchildren. He was a devoted dad as we grew up, an inspiration to us all and a fantastic role model. We grew up within the sporting fraternity and all developed a lasting love of football and the St Kilda Football Club.. Our own sporting pursuits were encouraged and guided under a caring hand and heart. The legacy he gave to us has in turn, given us the knowledge and motivation to help our own children pursue their dreams and realise their potential. In my own case, a football career was desired, but not attainable, as the "Sisters of Mercy" thought is was quite unladylike! However, I have four sons who are all passionate "Sainters", play footy with the local "Moe Saints J.F.C." and follow the ups and downs of the St Kilda Football Club with at times, a heavy heart, but most of all with great pride and a feeling of family because of the extraordinary man who is Brian Walsh. Thanks Dad.
