LET THE GAMES COMMENCE

Or to put it another way………

ANT TWEAKS ROADSHOW

Yes, I know the Mighty Fightin’ Pies are dukin’ it out at the MCG on Satdee night but the odds are we’ll be over the border quicker than you can say “horse flu” the following week so technically the roadshow starts now.

And what a show it will be.
Yes, I expect the Woods to dispense with the Swans faster than the Saints do coaches and why shouldn’t I?
This Club was made to play finals. Full stop.

The Pies are more low key than an Oompa Loompa’s front door this season. Impossible as it seems they have kept a lower profile than a set of Yokohama V103s.  So much so that the All Australian selectors, like blind gynaecologists, never gave us a look in……………AGAIN!

So many ‘experts’ reckon we look more suspect than the cheese dip at a George Michael party it’s not funny.

Well, like a CD by any Australian Idol winner, I just ain’t buying it!

This isn’t Carlton but the past does mean jack!

It’s all about the now.

Fighting Irish, he took a bigger hit than Janis Joplin and got straight back up!
Goldy, he runs like an Eskimo’s nose but never freezes.
Heathy Shaw, he’s like a Sandman panel van always cruisin’ round with a mobile mattress.
Sparky Thomas, takes off for more marks than a German exotic dancer.
And Pendles, like a smart cabbie, has just picked up where he left off.

Don’t be fooled, these kids have come to play.
And so have the Pies.
Overawed?
If it was a row boat maybe but we’re talking finals footy now!

And now they’re playing with an icon.
We all KNOW Bucks is good to go!

But the real wild card is the Lakeside Latin, Anthony Rocca.
The man whose achillis heel happens to be his achillis heel can be the real key to this whole finals campaign.
Big men just get bigger on the big stage and Travis just isn’t quite there yet. He’s very close though.

Fists, however, are for German cinema and Grand Finals, so, for the love of Bucks, let’s hope the only thing he hits is the ground running coz if one bloke has the ability and the power to turn this final series upside down and win a match with just sheer strength it’s our very own number 23.

Like a fat man in a deli, when he gets on a roll he is unstoppable.
And when Ant is unstoppable so are the Pies.

Rocca to kick 5.
Pies to win by 20!

GO YOU GOOD THINGS!!!!!!
