Geelong supporters have voted Joel Corey as the Cats best in the round nine win over Hawthorn in the gfc.com.au player of the year award. Corey has been a consistent vote getter this year and remains in second place behind Gary Ablett.

Ablett polled two votes after another impressive display while Matthew Scarlett picked up his first vote of the campaign after a brilliant game at full-back.

Geelong supporters are asked to vote on-line each week for the club’s best players. Voting will open for the round ten match against Adelaide immediately after the game.
