Luke McPharlin is a Round 22 nominee for the 2008 Toyota AFL Mark of the Year.

Luke received the nomination for his big leap over Collingwood’s Leon Davis and Fremantle team mates Roger Hayden and Scott Thornton in the second quarter of Fremantle’s win over the Magpies on Friday night.

In 2008, the winners of the Toyota AFL Mark of the Year award and Toyota AFL Goal of the Year award will each receive;
•    The use of a TRD Aurion for 12 months, presented by Toyota   
•    $5,000 for their grassroots club, presented by Toyota
•    A crystal replica of the official perpetual Toyota AFL Mark & Goal of the Year trophies
•    The Alex Jesaulenko Medal

At the end of the 22 round Toyota AFL Premiership Season, the AFL All-Australian Selection Committee will decide the overall winner from the pool of weekly nominations in each category.
