Tristan Vasilunas, coach of Useless, increased his lead of the Adelaide Football Club’s Dream Team group with a big round seven score.

His score of 2323 - the group’s second biggest total of the round - handed Tristan a 150 point overall lead ahead of Purple Sneakers, coached by Shawn Kasbergen. In the national rankings, Useless sits in 52nd place, 302 points behind the overall leader.

Lokan’s Guns posted the biggest score of round seven (2325), to jump into sixth place in the Crows group.

On the field, once again Geelong’s Gary Ablett was the highest scorer of the round. Returning to the side after a week off, Ablett scored 167 points. His team-mate, Paul Chapman, has scored more points than any other player in the first seven rounds.

Scott Thompson was Adelaide’s heaviest scorer against Richmond, with 121 points.

The low price of new Crow Phil Davis has made him the second most picked Adelaide player. Davis was last week named in 46,112 teams, below only Patrick Dangerfield who stayed in 47,982 teams despite his hand injury.
