Enjoying a history that extends beyond 125 years, Hawthorn Football Club is a proud, successful and progressive member of the Australian Football League and is well placed for future success. To help secure the Club’s long term future the Club is presently seeking to appoint an experienced and talented individual to develop and lead Hawthorn’s Foundation program.

Reporting directly to the General Manager - Consumer Services and Community, the incumbent will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of activities including:

•    Building the Foundation’s profile, public image and community awareness
•    Creating effective marketing and promotional programs that encourage donor participation and contribution
•    Designing and implementing effective fundraising programs
•    Developing and maintaining a range of foundation membership packages
•    Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key Foundation members
•    Developing and coordinating the Foundation’s bequest program
•    Deliver the expected outcomes of the foundation strategic plan
•    Responsible to overseeing the fundraising coordinator

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful track-record in public fundraising, marketing and promotion. You will possess advanced communication and interpersonal skills, strong strategic and administrative capability, knowledge of foundation governance and of course be proud and passionate in your desire to contribute to the long term success of the Hawthorn Football Club. The role will be offered 4 days per week.
