On Tuesday, 8 July 2008, more than 600 MELBOURNEfc junior supporters took part in the annual school holiday junior clinic, held at the Junction Oval.  Not even the bitter cold weather could chill the enthusiasm of these youngsters – and their parents - as they took part in many activities alongside players, all decked out in red and blue.

The clear favourites were goal sneak Austin Wonaeamirri, and the lightning fast Aaron Davey. This day provided the chance for junior members to meet all 43 MELBOURNEfc listed players, and to have a kick on the oval where the team trains.

The children were able to re-fuel with lunch provided by Bakers Delight, Patties Pies and fruit supplied by Fruit Bite.

Lachlan,14, said ‘it was one of the best days of my life’, while Caitlyn, nine, said the best part of her day was ‘getting a photo with Aaron Davey and having Jim Stynes sign my jumper!’

If you missed out on this clinic, be sure to come along to the next junior clinic, to be held on Sunday 3 August at the Junction Oval.
