MELBOURNEfc has made three changes for its Round 15 clash against the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.
In what will be the youngest team of the year, the Demons have included 14 players with less than 50 games of AFL experience.
Exciting forward Michael Newton will make his return to AFL football, after last playing for the Demons back in Round One. Newton has been a notable performer for Sandringham in recent weeks, and was a standout performer over the weekend, taking 10 marks and booting four goals.
Cale Morton and Daniel Bell also return after two weeks of solid contributions in the VFL.
Of the ‘outs’, Aaron Davey has been omitted after being suspended by the leadership group for unprofessional preparation. Davey will now play for Sandringham in the VFL on the weekend. Jace Bode has been omitted, and was named as an emergency .
On the injury front, James McDonald was close to returning, but will miss another week due to a slight groin complaint, and Brock McLean will miss the remainder of the season after ankle surgery.
The last time these two sides met was back in Round Two, in which the Bulldogs were easy victors by 95 points.
The emergencies for the match are Jeff White, Jace Bode and Nathan Carroll.
