The fifth annual Crows Foundation Christmas Carols will be held in the Westpac Centre on Tuesday December 14, with doors opening at 6:30pm.

Once again headlining the 2010 Crows Foundation Christmas Carols is Tim Campbell. From ‘Home and Away’ to the shiny floors of Dancing With The Stars, to singing beautiful Christmas songs on Carols By Candlelight, Tim thrilled the audience last year with his easy knock-about warmth and infectious style.

Former Adelaide Crows player Andrew Crowell will host the night which will include plenty of other special acts to entertain the crowd and get everyone in the festive spirit, including face painting for the kids.

This year our focus is on topping up funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Starlight Express Room to be built at the Women and Children’s Hospital in 2011. The Crows Foundation has donated significant funds to the Starlight Express Room built here in Adelaide.

Once again our major partner Toyota is supporting our Christmas community activities through the Toyota Christmas tree. This is the fifth year we have asked members and supporters to donate presents to children in need and last year we had close to 1000 presents donated. The Christmas tree will be set up at the Club in the front foyer of the Westpac centre from early December. Among this years beneficiaries will be the Smith family and the children’s ward at the Flinders Medical Centre.

Patrons are encouraged to bring along a picnic basket to enjoy during the carols, whilst beer, wine and soft drinks will be available to purchase.

You will also be able to pre-purchase a selection of platters for your table. There will be a Dips Platter with a selection of dips, including Hommus, Tzatziki and Semi Dried Tomato with Feta served with warm Turkish bread, an Antipasto Platter, with Marinated Feta, Vegetables and Kalamata Olives with Pancetta, Semi Dried Tomatoes and Chorizo served with warm Turkish bread, or a Cheese Platter with Chef’s Selection of Cheeses including King Island Discovery Ash Brie, Clover Creek Special Reserve Cheddar, King Island Roaring Forties Blue, Served with fig chutney, walnuts and water crackers.
