Development coach Henry Playfair says two of the Club’s most exciting young players in 2010, are on track to thrill fans again in 2011.

Playfair told SwansTV, Rising Star Dan Hannebery had improved in the off-season, and that after a slow start to his preparation, Lewis Jetta has stepped up his 2011 campaign.

“He came back needing a bit of work, but to his credit he’s really knuckled down. He’s remained injury free and he looks really good actually. He’s got his head around the stoppage and midfield work, so he’s really advanced himself in that area,” Playfair said.

“We’re expecting big things, he’s a bit of a crowd favourite. I’ve seen a few people with the number 32 on their back so he’s really taken off,” he said.

Playfair said 2010 Swans and AFL Rising Star Hannebery, was on track for another strong season, and was feeling no affects from a minor shoulder operation early in his campaign.

“He’s in really good shape. Hanners’ running in particular has improved out of sight so we’re hoping that will have a big effect on his games. He’ll be able to run out games better and have another great year,” Playfair said.

In his first year with the Club in 2010, Jetta played 20 matches and thrilled crowds with his quest for an elusive first goal. Hannebery, who enters his third season with the Swans in 2011, played 21 matches and was lauded for his consistency throughout the season.
